There are many things that you, as a player in real life, can do to help your character in The Land. If you have done any of these things, message DM Jeremy on our Discord channel and we will be sure to get you credit for them!
You may notice that most of these rewards are for Character Traits. There is a limit to how many you can use at any time, but it’s always helpful to have a few Character Traits available to you.
Quest: “All the Playtest”
Requirement: You must play all five of the Introductory adventures before you reach Level 2. (INTR01, INTR02, INTR03, INTR04, INTR05).
Reward: 500xp, and access to the Playtester (minor) Character Trait
Retire Date: June 30, 2023.
Quest: The Third Wave
Requirement: You must play at least one playtest game before June 30, 2023.
Reward: You gain access to the Third Wave (Minor) Character Trait
Retire Date: June 30, 2023.
Quest: The Second Wave
Requirement: You must have played at least one game of The Land: Roleplaying System during the pandemic of 2020. This is a reward for joining the new campaign.
Reward: You gain a Lesser Quarantine Mask, and may choose one of the following (minor) Character Traits: A Leef in the Wind; Carry a Large Stick; For the Mist; The Flaming Beard; The Gnomes’ Rule; The Netherfriend; Through service, ascendance…; Unlimited Breadsticks; or Veteran’s Rage.
Retire Date: June 30, 2023.
Quest: A Discordant Friend
Requirement: You have boosted our Discord server.
Reward: Each Month, you will be given either a random Trait or a specialty potion for each boost you put onto the server. Send a message to DM Jeremy to ensure you are on the list if you are boosting.
Retire Date: Never, as long as Discord allows it.
Quest: Rejoin the Empire!
Requirement: You must have played at least one game of our Greyhawk Lives! campaign.
Reward: you gain access to the A Light in the Darkness (Minor) Character Trait
Retire Date: 90 days after the end of the Greyhawk Reborn! campaign
Quest: MegaTraits!
Requirement: You must play a game of The Red Venom Plains at MegaCon 2023
Reward: you will gain a random trait, ranging from common to rare, for each game you play
Retire Date: must be claimed in person during MegaCon
