Sometimes, you actions stain your soul, and there is little you can do to prevent it. The mass slaying of a sentient race will often trigger predator sense in you, which others can sometimes observe. When you encounter one of these species, your stance changes; your posture instinctively adapts to a position more favorable to attacking that race, those around you see instinctively see you as a predator towards that race. Kobolds are one of the races that can affect your instincts, and you have done your part to become a threat to them, even if your intentions are friendly.
To earn Kobold Slayer I, you were an active part in the death of at least 10 Kobolds in a single fight. Doing this will increase your tactics against them, and they will change their attitude towards you. You gain a +1 bonus to damage rolls and Intimidation checks against Kobolds, and a -2 penalty to any beneficial social interactions with Kobolds.
If you have qualified for the Kobold Slayer I trait in at least five different adventures, your Kobold Slayer trait advances to Kobold Slayer II. At Kobold Slayer II, you gain a +1 to AC against attacks made by Kobolds, your bonuses to damage and Intimidation checks against Kobolds increases to +2, and our penalty to beneficial social interactions increases to -5.
If you have qualified for the Kobold Slayer I trait in at least 12 different adventures, your Kobold Slayer trait advances to Kobold Slayer III. At Kobold Slayer III, you gain a +1 bonus to all Saving Throws you need to make against Spells or Abilities made by Kobolds, or Traps or Hazards set by Kobolds. Additionally, you retain the +1 bonus to Armor Class and +2 bonus to damage and Intimidation checks made against Kobolds, but you gain disadvantage and the -5 penalty to all beneficial social interactions with Kobolds.
Once you have earned this Character Trait, it is very hard to remove it, but it may be possible. Ask the campaign administration for advice if you do not wish to be seen as hostile to all Kobolds.
This is a Bonus Trait, and does not count against your Character Trait limit.
