In addition to this defensive benefit, Infernal Essence amplifies the destructive power of Dark spells. For each rank in this subskill, all Dark spells deal 2% extra damage to targets with the Light keyword, Light Magic users, and Creatures of the Upper Court. This makes Infernal Essence an essential subskill for those who oppose the forces of light, enabling the caster to deal more damage to those who draw their power from the sun or celestial realms.
