Restorative Spell enhances the caster’s proficiency with Life spells, making them more effective at healing and alleviating harmful conditions. Each rank in this subskill grants a +1 bonus to Accuracy checks with Life Magic spells, ensuring that the caster’s healing magic is more precise and potent when used on their allies.
Additionally, the caster gains the Restorative Touch ability, a powerful means of cleansing ailments and alleviating persistent damage. As a Combat Action, the caster may touch themselves or an ally to provide restorative relief. For every 10 ranks in this subskill, the caster can remove one Persistent Effect from the target as part of that action. Alternatively, the caster can choose to reduce 1d10 Ongoing damage, treating it as a Persistent Effect and mitigating the damage over time.
The caster must declare all their actions before any effects or damage are removed. This ensures that the timing of the Restorative Touch is carefully considered, as its power to cleanse and heal is bound by the caster’s intent.
Restorative Spell makes the caster a true lifeline for their allies, capable of erasing harmful conditions and restoring them to fighting form with a simple touch. It is especially valuable in prolonged battles or when the party faces ongoing detrimental effects, ensuring that the caster can maintain their group’s vitality and resilience in the heat of combat.
These bonuses are not automatically added to the Roll20 Character Sheet, and must be added manually.
