You have been selected to start a new chapter of your life in a place both familiar and totally different; a place where you can become anything, or perish as nothing. The Land has summoned you to a region that begs for change. You must decide the course of that change. Welcome to the Red Venom Plains.
The Sea of Chaos is still taking shape. Much is yet to be decided, and that which has taken shape is not ready to be revealed. The Land is a living world: shaped by choices, scarred by failure, and forever changed by those bold enough to act. As a new Chaos Seed, a life of opportunity lies before you. Several lives, in fact.
What Is a Chaos Seed?
A Chaos Seed is a player character newly drawn into The Land. You are not a “chosen hero” by prophecy—but you are an agent of change. Whether you become a legend, a tyrant, a martyr, or a cautionary tale is determined entirely by your choices at the table. Here is what you need to get started:
Step 1: Make your Character.
The Land RPG is full of adventure and roleplaying, with lots of chances to Crush your enemies, Honor your allies, and live a great life through gaming. But first, you will need to make your avatar in the world. Follow steps in our Creating your Character section for details on how to create a new character in our campaign. You will learn how to create it online if you want, or follow the rules to create it yourself.
Step 2: Find a Game to Play
There are several ways to find a game, as they are mostly being played online. You can start by checking the Red Venom Events page for upcoming games and events. Hopefully there you will find some games that fit your schedule. If you can’t, read our Rulebooks and maybe try to run a game for others. Then of course, you can always join our social groups (links below) and ask around we’re always happy to help.
Step 3: Connect with us on Social Media and Gaming Platforms
The Land thrives because of its community, it always has, and the Red Venom Plains is not an exception to that rule. To fully participate, you’ll likely want to join our social media and gaming platforms. You’ll find all the links below—jump in, introduce yourself, and don’t be shy.

Step 4: Explore this site and have fun! There is a lot of information here, from Character Subskills which can allow you to customize your character; or the Geography Guide, which lets you read a great deal about the Red Venom Plains, the section of The Land where our adventure takes place; or the Item Database where you can discover details about the new items you just acquired.
