Commanding Spell enhances the caster’s ability to manipulate and control others through Compulsion Magic. Each rank in this subskill provides a +1 bonus to Accuracy checks with Compulsion (Life) spells, making the caster’s efforts to sway, dominate, or control others more effective and precise.

In addition to improving the caster’s control, Commanding Spell imposes a lingering effect on the target when a Compulsion spell ends. The target becomes Dazed until the end of their next turn. This state of disorientation represents the lingering influence of the caster’s command, leaving the target vulnerable and unable to act at full capacity, even after the spell’s effect fades.

Casters who specialize in Commanding Spell are masters of influence, not only ensuring their Compulsion spells succeed but also ensuring that their targets suffer further debilitation as the influence subsides. The Dazed condition prevents targets from immediately recovering from the caster’s manipulation, giving the caster an advantage in controlling the flow of combat and maintaining dominance over their foes.

These bonuses are not automatically added to the Roll20 Character Sheet, and must be added manually.
