Deflection allows the unarmed combatant to use their bare hands or limbs to parry incoming melee attacks with exceptional agility.

Deflection Ability: As a Reaction that costs 40 Stamina, when the wielder is attacked with a melee attack, they may use their unarmed combat skills to roll an Accuracy Check with their off-hand or limbs. The check gains a bonus equal to their ranks in Deflection. If the Accuracy Check equals or exceeds the Accuracy Check of the attacker, the attack is deflected and considered a miss.

Deflection is an invaluable ability for those who rely on their agility and speed in combat. It allows the unarmed combatant to turn their opponent’s attack against them, creating openings for counterattacks or simply avoiding damage. With its high cost, it’s best used strategically when an opponent’s attack would otherwise land a significant blow.

These bonuses are not automatically added to the Roll20 Character Sheet, and must be added manually.
