Driving Wave empowers the caster to channel the relentless force of water, enhancing both the precision and the impact of their spells. Each rank in this subskill increases the caster’s Accuracy +1 with all Water Magic spells, ensuring their aquatic assaults find their mark.
In addition, any Water Magic spell that moves another target gains an extra surge of momentum. For each rank in Driving Wave, the target is moved an additional 0.5 feet beyond the spell’s normal effect. For example, a spell that pushes a target 10 feet would push it an additional 2.5 feet with 5 ranks in this subskill.
Casters with Driving Wave are known for their ability to manipulate the flow of battle, forcing enemies out of position and creating openings for allies. The unyielding tide of their magic ensures that foes are swept away, no matter how firmly they try to stand their ground.
