Off Hand Parry Ability: The Off Hand Parry ability showcases the defensive mastery of a Small Blade wielder, using their agility and precision to deflect incoming melee attacks. This ability is ideal for dual-wielders who prioritize nimbleness and quick reflexes, allowing them to avoid damage with a well-timed parry.
Off Hand Parry: When the wielder is attacked with a melee attack, they may use their Reaction and expend 40 Stamina to roll an Accuracy Check with their off-hand Small Blade. The Accuracy Check gains a bonus equal to their ranks in Off Hand Parry. If the result equals or exceeds the Accuracy Check of the attacker, the melee attack is deflected and considered a miss. This ability can only be used if the wielder has a Small Blade in their Off Hand.
Off Hand Parry enables Small Blade users to turn their dual-wielding style into a potent defense, combining speed and skill to mitigate incoming damage. This makes them highly effective in close quarters, where quick reactions can mean the difference between survival and defeat.
These bonuses are not automatically added to the Roll20 Character Sheet, and must be added manually.
