Rebounded Spell grants a caster the uncanny ability to turn failure into opportunity, redirecting wayward magic toward a new target. When a spell enhanced with this skill misses its intended target or is otherwise ineffective, the caster gains a chance to rebound it against another legal target within the spell’s original range. This chance is equal to 1% per rank in Rebounded Spell, with an additional bonus based on the caster’s Luck attribute.
The new target must meet all the original parameters of the spell, such as range, line of sight, and any restrictions outlined when it was cast. The spell’s effects are resolved as though it had been freshly cast on the new target, including attack rolls or saving throw calculations.
Rebounded Spell rewards casters who can turn misfortune into a tactical advantage, ensuring their magic rarely goes to waste. Masters of this skill are known for their unpredictability, keeping enemies guessing as spells twist and dance across the battlefield.
These bonuses are not automatically added to the Roll20 Character Sheet, and must be added manually.
