Requirement: Your character must have a dexterity of 12 or higher to learn or use this Subskill. If your Dexterity drops below 12, you are unable to benefit from it.
Knowing how to tuck-and-roll is an often ignored ability that can help you in the end. This Subskill allows a character to fall further safely and may help the character reduce the damage they take if they fall further. All creatures and characters can drop, or fall, 10 feet without taking damage. The skill extends that by 10 feet for each rank of this skill.
If you have at least 4 ranks in this skill, you additionally gain Resistance to damage sustained by falling.
Rank | Downtime Required (Total Spent) | Effect |
1 | 10 | Safe Fall from 10′ Distance |
2 | 30 | Safe Fall from 20′ Distance |
3 | 60 | Safe Fall from 30′ Distance |
4 | 100 | Safe Fall from 40′ Distance; Fall Damage Resistance |
5 | 150 | Safe Fall from 50′ Distance; Fall Damage Resistance |
6 | 210 | Safe Fall from 60′ Distance; Fall Damage Resistance |
