Gambling is a Common skill, and is modified by your Luck.

Gambling embodies a character’s ability to embrace risk, read situations, and tilt the odds in their favor when engaging in chance-based endeavors. While its most obvious application is in games of chance—such as cards, dice, or roulette—Gambling goes far beyond the gaming table. This skill represents a knack for taking calculated risks in unpredictable situations, relying on luck, intuition, and a bit of flair to succeed. Whether betting everything on a high-stakes game, bluffing in a game of cards, or making a risky decision in the heat of an adventure, Gambling is about knowing when to roll the dice and when to fold.

Gambling also offers opportunities for creative problem-solving and high-stakes roleplay. A skilled gambler might hustle marks in a bustling tavern, engage in a daring wager with a wealthy noble, or use their understanding of risk and reward to gamble on outcomes in combat or negotiation. In The Land, where fortune often favors the bold, the Gambling skill allows characters to seize opportunities and turn the tides of fate, embracing risk for the chance of great reward.

As your skill in Gambling grows, you will gain additional benefits from it.
